I traveled to neighboring towns like Cabrera, Payita, and Nagua to eat at restaurants, go to beaches and have sleepovers with some Dominican girlfriends.

How far have I traveled on this journey so far?:

I have traveled all over the Dominican Republic! It is a pretty small island, so it is easy to travel around with guaguas (buses) or taking bolas (hitch-hiking). For example, from my town, San Rafael, in the north, to the capital, Santo Domingo, in the south, is only a two hour car drive.

How did I get around this week?:

This week I got around with guaguas (buses), carros de mis amigos (friends' cars), my bicicleta (bicycle), and taking bolas (hitch-hiking)!

What was the most interesting place I visited this week?:

The most interesting place I visited was the beach, La Entrada. It is a beautiful beach and has a lot of wildlife. That is where I saw the sea turtle this week!

Other Travel News from this week:

I had many friends visit me this week, so all the traveling I did was around my site and the neighboring beaches and towns. I truly believe I live in the most beautiful area of the Dominican Republic. My province, Maria Trinidad Sanchez, is full of beaches, waterfalls, rivers, wildlife and palm trees!
