Every day this week was rainy, sunny and cloudy at some point during the day! Friday was the only windy day we had this week, and the Dominican Republic never gets snow. It is too hot! The weather was rainy every morning and during the night. During the winter season, we get more rain showers than usual, which gives a nice break from the heat, and I sleep better falling asleep to the sound of rain on my tin roof. During the day, there is a lot of sun, giving me perfect opportunities to go to the beach!
This week, while swimming, I saw a sea turtle (tortuga marina), plenty of fish (peces), and a crab (cangrejo) as I was walking along the beach! On my walk through my town, San Rafael, I always see tons of dogs (perros), cats (gatos), chickens (gallinas), turkeys (pavos), pigs (cerdos), horses (caballos) and cows (vacas).
