As this journey comes to an end, I want to use this space to reflect on this beautiful experience.
During my time in Italy, I immersed myself in the local culture. I admired the beautiful medieval architecture, walked throughout the city eating gelato, and enjoyed the country's unique mix of old traditions and modern life. Each day brought new discoveries that filled my life with awe, from lively local markets to quiet moments in beautiful libraries, palaces, and museums.
During my time here, I had the chance to visit other countries as well. I had the opportunity to visit countries like Spain, Vatican City, and Belgium and each destination added another layer to my understanding of the world. In every new city, I met people whose stories broadened my perspective, forming friendships that I believe will last a lifetime and have made this journey unforgettable. These connections, filled with shared laughter and genuine understanding, taught me the beauty of cultural diversity and the universal language of kindness. Now more than ever, it is incredibly important that we cherish our cultural diversity, approach each other with kindness, understanding, and respect, and find strength in one another.
While I learned a lot about others here, the most meaningful lessons were those I learned about myself.
