Olá (Hello)! My name is Sage, I am 21 years old, and I grew up in San Francisco, California. Growing up in the Bay Area, I loved playing volleyball, hiking the beautiful trails nearby, cooking, and trying all of the different foods San Francisco has to offer.
For college, I traveled down to Southern California to attend the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), where I am currently a senior graduating this upcoming June! I study Business Economics with a minor in Film, Television, and Digital Media. I’ve always loved all things entertainment, and at UCLA I’ve been able to explore that passion through my role as Marketing Director of the Fashion and Student Trends (FAST) club and as a member of the Cultural Affairs Committee, where we organized concerts for students. I also work at a music artist management company, where I help with creative and branding initiatives.
This semester, I am living in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, as a proud recipient of the U.S. Department of State’s Gilman Scholarship. Traveling the world has always been one of my biggest dreams, and I feel incredibly grateful for the chance to make it a reality.
