What jobs do your parents have?:

My father works for Inditex (a Spanish clothing conglomerate that includes Zara and headquartered near A Coruña). He works there in a sales position.

My mother works as a dentist in the city center.

What time does school start, and what time do you go home?:

School starts at 8:40 a.m. and ends at 2:10 p.m. I normally get home around 2:30 p.m. every day, but sometimes I have class in the afternoon at 4 p.m. or 5 p.m.

How do you get to school? Are you allowed to go to school by yourself?:

One student said "I get to school by taking the bus. The city bus stops a few minutes away from the school and I walk the rest of the way from the bus stop."

Another student said "I walk to school from my piso, it is 15 minutes away from school."

Both students are allowed to go by themselves and almost always do.

Where do you eat lunch? What is your favorite food?:

I eat lunch at home most days after school. My favorite food is pizza or hamburgers.

What language do you speak at school? How do you say "Hello" in your language?:

I speak Castellano (the dialect of Spanish most widely spoken around the world), Galician and English. I can say hola or ola, to say hi. It's the same pronunciation in Castellano and Galician.

What are some common kids' names at your school?:

Mateo, Aroa, Noa, Marta, Luis and Xoel are some popular names here.
