8:30AM - Wake up for school.
8:45AM - Actually get out of bed to get ready for school.
9:05AM - Quick breakfast (often fruit) with my host mom in the kitchen.
9:25AM - Meet friends to walk to school along the quai (dock) of the Rhône River.
9:55AM - Arrive at Université Lumière Lyon II for classes. If I arrive early, I typically grab some coffee or tea in the International Student Lounge.
10AM - Classes start. My classes are all taught in French and include history, grammar, culture, literature and phonetics.
12PM - Lunch break! I typically either grab a coffee and snack at a nearby boulangerie (bread shop). Bread (and food in general) is very important to the French!
1PM - Classes back in session.
4PM - Class dismissed! After school, the other Dartmouth students and I find a place (like a café) to drink some coffee and do some homework.
6PM - I walk home and either finish more homework, talk to friends via FaceTime, wander around my neighborhood or go for a run in the Tête D'Or Park (where the Lyon Zoo is).
8PM - Dinnertime! In Lyon, my host family eats much later than my family at home in the U.S.
