Guangzhou is far in the south of China, so its weather is kind of like Florida in the United States. It is very nice in the winter and very hot and humid in the summer. This year was unusually cold in Guangzhou, but temperatures only fell to 45 degrees!
I live in one of the biggest cities on earth, about two times the size of New York City. There are not many animals here, but I do sometimes see dogs, cats, and rats, just like in an American city! One important difference is that there are no pigeons here.
I saw a few trees that had been blown down by a typhoon that came to Guangzhou a few weeks ago.
There was a tiny lizard in my bathroom! How did that get there?
