Farewell Journal - An Unexpected Goodbye

Not talking in English all the time is hard! I learned some basic French during my time here such as "hello, goodbye, how are you? And, "what is your name?" but you need to know so much more to buy food or to tell the doctor how you feel if you are sick. I will miss learning how to say things in a different language. Here is a spoiler...I am planning on teaching you fun, basic French phrases in our next video call! And maybe then you can try using French phrases in your daily life and go to a French bakery in New York to try some of those foods I mention above! The third, and certainly not the last thing I will miss, is the wonderful views in Paris. There are many landmarks that are famous here such as the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre Museum, Arc de Triumpe, and Saint-Chapelle. The lesser know spots are in the nearby suburbs of Paris such as Cergy where I have been living. Cergy has a huge, gorgeous lake much loved by ducks, and the city has some of the best bakery items I've tasted in my time, here! I will miss so many places and people here!
Thank you for reading my journey with me. I came to Paris to explore the music, food, dances and business life. For the short time I've gotten to stay here, I am glad I experienced small parts of each of those aspects of life, here, and I am sad I couldn't show them all to you. Hopefully, you will see them for yourself someday, or I will have another opportunity to tell you about everything. A plus tard! (See you later!)
