My name is Ronni Michelle Harris, but you all can call me Ronni. I am from Hampton, Virginia, United States. If you didn't know, Virginia is the first state that English colonies settled in centuries ago in 1607. I'm 25 years old, and I was born and raised in Virginia as well Growing up, I was surrounded by so much diversity, education, and niche art. I attended many different schools, after-school programs, and activities, which taught me how to adapt to new places and people.
A few artistic things I've done in life go from poetry and painting to theatre, dance, and making music. My passion for creativity led me to study Graphic Design and Psychology in college. I love helping people and want to help make the world a better place through art. And because I wanted to grow as a designer in a place with strong artistic traditions, I chose to study abroad at Elisava, the School of Design and Engineering in Barcelona, Spain!
This is my very first time living so far from home, and I am excited to share what I learn along the way. I feel that I am getting a more immersed experience by staying with my Spanish homestay family, and it'll be nice to share how I adjust here. What inspires me is Barcelona’s art and culture, and there will be many different trips and travels through my study abroad program and classes.
