Each household owns farmland within my community, due to the dry environment in Northern Ghana. There are not many crops that are able to successfully grow. However, corn and cassava are among the few that grow very well. Whenever I am eating TZ with a family, there is a very high chance the ingredients came straight from that family's farm.
