Do any of you like Kpop? If so, what is your favorite song or artist? Now, one of my favorite hobbies is to spend time with the friends I have made at school. Many of my friends come from other countries. Some of my friends are from Saudi Arabia, Japan, Switzerland, Germany and more. My friends and I love to take road trips and celebrate holidays together. What do you and your friends like to do for fun?
Soon, I will be graduating from university. I am supposed to graduate this December. I am hoping to work in many different countries throughout the world. I have always loved learning about different cultures and languages. My favorite subject in school was even world history and religion! What is your favorite subject in school?
My university had very limited access to study abroad programs but I didn’t let that stop me from studying abroad. I worked closely with my school to open up a program in my dream host country, South Korea. After a lot of research and paperwork, my program was finally approved. The scholarship that helps me study abroad is called the Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship Program. You can learn more about my scholarship by clicking here!
I have never felt happier than I did when I landed in South Korea. I realized that my summer will now be filled with many amazing memories and stories. There are many differences in life between South Korea and the United States. South Korea is a beautiful country full of history and culture. I look forward to learning more about the country and culture, as well as sharing my adventures with all of you!
