Traveler Bio

안녕하세요 an-nyeong-ha-se-yo (hello)! My name is Raegan (레이건 spelled out in Korean), and welcome to my travels in South Korea! I am 22 years old and grew up in San Diego, California. San Diego is famous for a lot of fun things, like the San Diego Zoo, Comic-Con, and even food we invented called the California burrito (it has french fries inside)!

Right after I graduated from high school, I moved to Los Angeles, California to go to the University of Southern California (USC). I had the best four years at USC, where I graduated with a degree in International Relations with a minor in Human Rights. While at USC, I actually got to work during my summer vacation in Seoul, where I fell in love with the country so much that I knew I had to go back. Going abroad for the first time felt like a dream come true.

Last May, I was accepted into the Fulbright Program as an English Teaching Assistant to teach English in South Korea. This time, I will be living in a different city, where I will learn a whole new part of the culture and lifestyle. 같이 배워요 ga-chi bae-wo-yo (Let's learn together)!
