Travel News

How far did I travel this week?:

Ocaña is about 150 miles north of Bucaramanga. It took us five hours to travel there by car.

How far have I traveled on this journey so far?:

Ocaña is the farthest place that I have traveled so far!

How did I get around this week?:

We used a car to get to Ocaña. Then, we walked a lot throughout the city because everything is very central. I also road on a motorcycle to explore the mountains and fresh air with one of Anita's friends!

What was the most interesting place I visited this week?:

The most interesting place that I visited this week was at the "Virgin of Torcoroma." Behind the church, there was a wall called "Miracle Wall" that had plaques of various miracles that had happened to people in this place. There were so many tributes! It was interesting to read all the different miracles, or the "thank you notes" that people had written for Mary for their miracles.

Other Travel News from this week:

On the way back from Ocaña, we got stuck in construction traffic and sat on the side of the road, without moving, for 90 minutes. To pass the time, a car in front of us played music, and many people got out of their cars to dance on the side of the road!
