Traveler Bio

My name is Quamé Pierre. I am a junior at the University of Southern California studying theatre. I work and study with my talented peers, and together we collaborate to put on plays and musicals. During my time at USC, I've directed, acted, produced, and generally worked on 14 productions through both school sponsered shows and student-run theatre clubs on campus. My passion in life is directing, and that's why I'm excited to study abroad in London this semester. I'll have the opportunity to improve my skills working one-on-one with professional directors and actors.

Despite how busy my life is with theatre, I do find time to enjoy myself. I've taught myself to play the drums, piano, and guitar. When I come home from school, I find time to play with local bands at various venues in South East Georgia. I also enjoy playing basketball; in fact, I took a basketball class last semester, and it was the most fun I've had since middle school P.E. I enjoy watching movies; a recent favorite I watched was Marty Surpreme. I think my favorite part about watching movies is discussing them with friends to get a wider idea of how they interpreted certain parts of the film.

That's just a little about my life and what I like. I hope you enjoyed reading about me. I can't wait to share my journey abroad with you. It's going to be a wild ride.
