Preparing for Ramadan

It is celebrated in the middle of Ramadan, and it is similar to Halloween.

Is this tradition connected to its environment? How?:

Ramadan is a month in the Islamic calendar, which is a lunar calendar with 12 months. Since the calendar is based on the moon, the month of Ramadan begins when the crescent moon is spotted. This year, Bahrain announced the first day of fasting on Wednesday, February 18th.

The month ends when the next cresecent moon is spotted. This means that the month of Ramadan typically lasts 30 days, but it can vary if the moon isn't visible, such as if the weather is cloudy.
