Planes, Pedals, and Packing: A Transportation Adventure

Its minaret rises about 200 meters (656 feet), and the main prayer hall can hold about 25,000 people. The huge outdoor esplanade can hold another 80,000.

After 26 hours of travel and crossing several time zones, I definitely had a little jet lag last night. But that is part of international travel too.

Tomorrow morning, at about 7:00 a.m., Pedal to Port finally begins.

The bike is assembled. The bags are mounted. I’m in Morocco.

Travel almost never goes exactly the way you expect. There will be problems to solve, plans to change, and probably a few wrong turns.

That isn’t something that gets in the way of the adventure. Sometimes, that is the adventure.
