Most days were sunny, with cooler air in the evenings. In the daytime, I could explore in a short-sleeved shirt, but an extra layer was useful after sunset. The sunshine made the sea sparkle. The evening sky had its own surprise waiting!
One animal deserves a special introduction: the orange cat in my photo! I crouched down beside it for a selfie. We had very different approaches to the picture. I gave the camera a big smile, while the cat kept a much more serious face. Who do you think posed better?
The sunset was my favorite. The clouds glowed orange, pink and purple above the rooftops. In my photo, the trees and buildings look almost like dark paper cutouts against the bright sky. If I had drawn those colors myself, someone might have told me to make them more realistic!
