I also recommend "Nur ein Wort" by Wir Sind Helden and "Durch den Monsun" by Tokio Hotel. I can make a playlist of German music if y'all want.

What activity was the most fun this week?:

I baked pumpkin bread to share with the teachers at my school. They all really enjoyed it and some even asked for the recipe. Cooking American food in Germany is a challenge because it is never as simple as it is in America. Either I have to jump through hoops to find an ingredient or find a substitute and potentially waste hours if it doesn't turn out good. This time, I had to make my own pumpkin puree.

What did I read this week?:

I mostly read the German newspaper online or pages from the English textbooks about America to check for inaccuracies. There's been a lot in the news this week about global elections and the demonstrations happening in France.

What games or sports did I play this week?:

I played a card game called HochstaplerI with my roommates this week. It's a German game that involves word associations. There is a word that all but one person know and all must say an associated word. One person in the group is an imposter who must guess what the word is while also remaining undercover.

Other news from this week:

The Eagles Nest, Hitler's mountain hideaway in Bavaria, burned down just a few days ago. Some people say this is a good thing because they think maintaining the location glorifies the Nazis while others think it is bad because it destroyed an important historical site.
