My professor is kind of a local celebrity, and runs a lot of Ikebana (Japanese flower arranging) workshops. So, this week, I got the opportunity to visit one of her exhibits in Akita city. The volunteers were so kind to give me a personal tour! I got to see the beautiful arrangements and learn all about the detail and time it takes to create these pieces. It was really fun!
