German is the main language, but you also hear Turkish and Arabic on the streets and in shops.
Euros (€)
A bottle of water costs as little as €0.15 if you go to Lidl or Kaufland supermarkets, which are both budget supermarkets. However, it costs more if you buy a water bottle from a convenience store, usually between one and two euro. This symbol € is the sign for euro, the same way that $ is the sign for dollar in the US!
My favorite meal was probably my lunch in Koblenz on Sunday, January 18th. I met up with a few friends (other Fulbright grantees), and we explored Koblenz. We all had lunch together at a burger place, and I got a tasty Beyond Burger (a vegetarian burger).
I listened to a lot of musical theater and Disney songs. Do you like musical theater songs?
