This week, I went on a trip to Valencia, another city on the eastern coast of Spain. Valencia is about 220 miles south of Barcelona (a short plane ride or a four-hour bus ride).
My hometown in Massachusetts is about 3,645 miles away from Barcelona. I've traveled a long way!
I got around this week using Barcelona's metro (underground electric train) system, which is affordable and convenient to use.
During my trip to Valencia, we did many exciting things—like visiting an aquarium, taking a boat ride and eating delicious local foods!
Remember the tasty paella (rice dish) I told you about last week? The area around Valencia is home to many rice fields, and I got to take a boat ride to see where it’s harvested.
