This week, I played a lot of cards and some soccer (or "fútbol,” as they call it here) with my friends in a nearby park.
Barcelona won their match against Elche 3-1, with goals from Lamine Yamal, Ferran Torres and Marcus Rashford. (Elche is a city in southeastern Spain.) This was such an awesome cultural moment for me as everyone was excited! This victory helped Barcelona return to winning ways after their loss in the previous El Clásico and maintain their position in the La Liga standings.
