Traveler Bio

Hola! My name is Olivia Glover, and I am a junior at Elon University studying Communications and Public Policy. I was born and raised in the beautiful mountains of North Carolina, and I love hiking, shopping, spending time with friends, and trying new food spots... especially if there’s a sweet treat involved!

Ever since I was little, I dreamed of traveling the world, experiencing new places, and learning about different cultures. This semester, that dream is becoming a reality as I study abroad in Sevilla, Spain! I chose Sevilla because of its beautiful scenery, rich culture, and welcoming atmosphere. Since arriving, I’ve already had the chance to try amazing local foods and experience the city’s unique blend of history and modern life. From it's beautiful architecture to the lively streets and local traditions, Sevilla has so much to offer, and I’m extremely grateful for the opportunity to experience more of it.

While abroad, I hope to step outside of my comfort zone, meet people from different backgrounds, improve my Spanish, and gain a deeper understanding of the world around me. Sevilla has welcomed my my curiosity, love for adventure, and sense of wonder and I'm so glad to consider it my new home away from home. I’m excited to share my experiences and take you along on my adventure!
