A Week in My Life

This week was very busy! I traveled a lot, went to many museums, and made sure to keep up with my school work.

Nature's Quiet Beauty

Traveling across Europe, I was able to discover new plants and different environments. I also discovered that one type of vegetation that brings me the most comfort is grass!

I moved to Wuppertal, Germany, and will be here for the next year! I am currently working as a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant in a small German town a short train ride away!

Lessons on Lamb and Stew

Interested to learn more about Irish Cuisine? On a bank holiday weekend, I traveled to County Kerry and tried two traditional lamb based dishes: Irish stew and slow-roasted lamb shank!

My First Time Trying Feijoada!

The most famous of all Brazilian dishes and eaten across all regions is the feijoada. This rich, hearty stew consists of black beans, tomatoes, cabbage and carrots with different cuts of pork.

¡Que viva Cuenca!

Cuenca is a beautiful city featuring lots of parks and rivers. It is called "The Athens of South America" because of it's Spanish-inspired architecture and it's abundance of art.

Fall: Facts and Fun!

I'm logging in to tell you all about this week's London adventures! I didn't go far this week after my full fall break in Italy, but London is always an interesting city to learn and explore.
