Introduction:

With the weather warming up in the city of Budapest, I came across a tree species that caught my eye from a mile away. It was a cherry blossom tree, and I knew I had to share it with you. In this field note, we are going to learn all about this amazing tree, where it lives, how it survives, and how it may be harmed. Get ready to discover one of nature's most beautiful plants!

What does this creature or plant look like?:

Cherry blossom trees are really special and easy to spot. Their flowers are beautiful shades of pink and white. The trees are medium-sized, about as tall as a house, with branches that spread out wide like an umbrella.

The best part is that they change colors with the seasons. In the spring, they are covered in pink flowers, in the summer, they grow bright green leaves, and in the fall, those leaves turn red, orange, and gold, similar to a rainbow.

How did I feel when I saw it?:

When I first saw the cherry blossoms blooming, I felt peaceful yet amazed. I also felt really excited because this means warmer weather is right around the corner. The trees look like something out of a fairytale, standing out from all the other plants and trees around them.

Where does it live?:

Cherry blossom trees are found all over the northern hemisphere, with many types coming from Japan.
