This week, I left Kathmandu and went to Dehradun, India for a study trip! For most of the week, we stayed at a farm right outside Dehradun. Later, we stayed in Dehradun and explored Rishikesh.
In my program, SIT Nepal: Development, Gender, and Social Change, I'll learn about social and environmental activism and research food security while travelling through Nepal.

We visited the International Centre for Integrated Mountain Development (ICIMOD) in Lalitpur (right outside of Kathmandu) and learned about sustainable farming techniques!
For one week, I went to a village in Langtang called Gatlang, where I lived with family of three. Then, I went trekking to Gosaikunda, a Hindu holy lake located at 14,370 ft altitude.
