Hola a todos (Hello everyone),
Today, I will illustrate a typical day in my life in Buenos Aires, Argentina. There are so many restaurants to try, museums to go to and parks to discover…. Let's take a glimpse of my daily exploration this past Monday!
Almost every day, I catch the 101 collectivo (bus) from la calle (the street) 1471 Uriburu Jose E. Pres. It only takes around 15 minutes to make it to class!
Before leaving my apartment, I typically bring a banana or orange in my bag, or else I eat toast with jam and catch the bus. However, some days I meet with a university friend after class and we have a big brunch or lunch to make up for not having breakfast. Argentines do eat a lot for breakfast, and I have been following this trend!!
Every Monday, I wake up around 7:30 a.m. to shower and prepare for my class at 9:00 a.m. I have a two hour Spanish class with other students from the States at the IES center. This week after class, I ate some empanadas for lunch that I brought from home. It was not the most balanced meal, but it was quick and cost efficient! I did some studying and homework in the center before walking back to my apartment.
Since I didn’t have much work, I decided to visit the Villa Ocampo house in San Isidro, Buenos Aires.
