The weather in Mannheim was mostly cold and cloudy, with a few sunny days. It rained a little, but overall, it was comfortable to walk outside.
I saw many pigeons and crows that like to flock to areas with large crowds and outside my home. These birds like to perch on my window and wake me up in the morning! I also saw ducks and swans along the Rhine River.
I visited the beaches along the river in Waldpark (Forest Park), where people were walking their dogs and having picnics along the water. The mix of sand and pebbles made it a unique place to explore and find a good spot to enjoy the day.
The city has started planting flowers in parks and public spaces, and many people have placed flower pots on their balconies. The colorful flowers are a sign that spring is arriving!
