Omesh's Life in India

Till class tenth, I like Sanskrit the most, but in class 11th [I like] tabla [the most]."

Omesh just started class 11th in this past month. 

Tabla is a kind of Indian classical drum.

What is your homework like?:

Omesh: "Solving the questions. We get less homework now than in class 10th."

What do you like to do after school? Do you have a favorite sport or game?:

Omesh: "I like to play cricket, but we play it on only Sundays. I play video games after coming home from school."

Who is your favorite famous person?:

Omesh: "Virat Kohli...he's a cricketer."

What kinds of music do you listen to?:

Omesh: "Old songs, like 8 year old or 9 year old sounds, with smooth beats. [I like] both Indian music and American music."

What would you like to be when you grow up?:

Omesh: "I want to be a computer engineer."

If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go?:

Omesh: "Florida. Or Japan. I want to go to Florida because it is near the ocean, and I want to see the zoo there. I want to go to Japan because I love Pokemon, anime, and manga. I am also learning Japanese."

The person who stayed in my apartment before me (Marquel) was from Florida. I think that's a great example of how important international exchange is. Omesh probably learned about Florida from Marquel!

What do you know or think about the United States?:

Omesh: "I want to go to the United States because its currency is more powerful. If I earn $300 [in the United States] and send it home, it will be a lot more here [in India]."

Omesh is right.
