I can’t believe my time in Seoul is almost over! I have around two weeks left, as we still have finals occuring right now. Last week, my friends and I made our last trip of the semester to Kyoto and Tokyo in Japan! It was such a fun trip, and it was one that definitely deserves a post of its own, honestly.

Coming to Seoul, my goal was to make a trip to Japan, because I am not sure when I will ever be close enough again to get such cheap airline tickets. We were able to book our round trip flights from Seoul for less than $100! Even though the timing of our trip was a little rough with finals right around the corner, I'm so glad that we were able to make it happen.

We spent our weekend exploring the various temples and shrines that Japan is well-known for, accomplished the trek from Kyoto to Tokyo, and managed to eat so much good food along the way. My favorite part of the trip was probably trying conveyor belt sushi; so delicious! Sadly, now I have to get back to studying!

There is so much that I could say about my time here. For starters, I am thankful that I have been granted the opportunity to write to you all each week. I will be the first to admit that it has been a struggle.
