What jobs do your parents have?:

Eason's dad works in an office, and his mom is a teacher. They are both very busy!

What time does school start, and what time do you go home?:

School starts at 8:00 a.m. and ends at 4:00 p.m. After school, he does not always go home. Three times a week, he takes the bus to cram school. Cram school is like an after-school school! Eason practices English and math until 7:30 p.m. After that, he goes home. What a long day!

How do you get to school? Are you allowed to go to school by yourself?:

Eason drives with his dad to school on a scooter because it is faster than taking the bus or the train. When he comes home, he takes the bus by himself.

Where do you eat lunch? What is your favorite food?:

Eason usually eats lunch at school. His favorite lunch is fried chicken!

What language do you speak at school? How do you say "Hello" in your language?:

At school, Eason uses Chinese and English. Taiping is a bilingual school, so students take classes to learn English. They also learn English in their regular classes, like art or health!

I am sure you already know how to say hello in Chinese. What are some other ways students say "hello"? When the students say "hello" to the teachers, they say: 老师好 (lǎoshī hǎo).

What are some common kids' names at your school?:

All of the students have a Chinese and an English name. Eason, Max and Nina are some common English names. 雅婷 (Yǎ Tíng) and 昱廷 (Yù Tíng) are common Chinese names.
