A trip to the land of Chinggis Khan

Chinggis Khan, the leader of the Mongol Empire, was born in the province of Khentii. About six hours east of Ulaanbaatar, it is famous for its horses and its vast emptiness!

These dogs are native to Mongolia! Gold and black dogs are especially common, and useful for guarding gers and other animals.
