Jerash is one of the 10 Decapolis cities (a league of ten Greco-Roman cities in the ancient Levant)and is one of the largest, and most well-preserved sites of Greek and Roman architecture.
In Jerash, we looked at the ruins of an ancient Byzantine church.
Inside the ruins of a Byzantine church, we saw the beautiful mosaics hidden under the dust.
This is the inside of an ancient theatre in Jerash. It was incredible to see where people once went for entertainment.
After our hike in Ajiloun, we stopped by a shop that sold pomegranate juice and jam. We saw how it was made and got to taste it.
