Hi! My name is Maggie Cielesz, and I am teaching English to college students in Ciechanów, Poland. I am excited to step into a new job as a professor and am excited to share my journey with you all!

A week in a small Polish town filled with long walks, snowy streets, hot soup and new routines far from home.

Since October, I’ve lived and taught in Poland, learning each day with my students. This journey shows how asking questions, trying new things and being brave can lead to amazing travel adventures.

Trying Polish food in Poland felt like stepping into a warm kitchen. Pierogi, potato pancakes, soup and pączki made cold days feel cozy and familiar.

Come along on my adventure in Ciechanów, Poland! From teaching to snowy walks and castle views, these photos show the everyday moments of my life abroad.
