The bus is a part of the culture here, because so many people use it. There are conversations at the bus stops and while riding between stops. As a non-native French speaker, I try to listen to these conversations because it helps me learn! The bus system is how a lot of people try to help the environment. If they live close enough to their work, they choose not to own a car and instead they take the bus. This means less pollution in our air. There are also enough bus routes that no matter where you live you can use this form of public transportation!
