It is usually made with local milk from German dairy farms, and it is one of the main food items in most German bakeries. The döner is Germany’s primary street food. It was a typical Turkish dish that was brought to Germany by Turkish immigrants in the 1960s and 70s. Many of the vegetable ingredients are sourced locally. I am so excited that I have gotten to try these unique food items!
