¡Hola! My name is Lydia Miller (most of you know me as Ms. Miller), and I am 24 years old. I grew up in Michigan where I spent most days at Lake Michigan beaches, riding my bike around town, and swimming in the lake or my grandparents' pool. I played the flute, did musical theater, swam competitively and grew up volunteering in different service positions. I went to college at the University of Michigan and studied Environmental Studies and Psychology, and then got my Master's of Education at the University of Notre Dame.
I taught middle school science for two years in Indianapolis, and have now been honored with the opportunity to teach in Spain as a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant. My love for the Spanish language began during my study abroad experience in Costa Rica, and I then fell in love with the country of Spain while completing the Camino de Santiago (a backpacking pilgrimage through the country). I cannot wait to stay connected and share more with you about the beautiful cities of Vigo and Pontevedra in Spain, and to hear about how your year is going. Sending lots of love! ¡Hasta luego!
