The Golden Eagle

While the golden eagle is not considered endangered or threatened, its numbers are declining. Efforts have begun to conserve these birds. Currently, the global population of golden eagles is estimated to be around 250,000 - 300,000. The greatest threat to golden eagles today is the destruction and disruption of their habitats, including commercial tree planting.
