I traveled four hours by train to Venice from Torino this weekend. While this train was the longest, the one that was the most fun this weekend was the train ride from Bologna to Como, my friend and I bought some cheese, meat and wine for aperitivo on the train! Aperitivo is an Italian tradition where you go to a restaurant, order a special drink and they bring out a charcuterie board for you to enjoy with your friends
This weekend, I have traveled the farthest when I traveled to Venice. Next weekend, however, I will be traveling to Barcelona, and that will be the farthest that I travel over the course of this study abroad program. I am very excited to see Barcelona, as it will also be the longest I will stay in one city while I'm traveling. I will be there a total of four nights and five days. I expect to be a local in Barcelona after that!
