Γεια σας! Hello! My name is Laney, and this fall, I’ll be living and working in Athens, Greece as a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant. I grew up in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, where I love exploring the 60+ miles of biking trails, riding my horses, and boogie boarding at the beach--no surfing for me! When I’m not in Hilton Head, you can usually find me traveling the world, skiing with my family, reading a good book, or spending time with my cat, Nellie.
At New York University, I studied History and Hellenic Studies, and I’m so excited to return to Greece and continue learning about its history and culture while sharing my own experiences and American culture with my students. I can’t wait to share my adventures with you all!
