As we move into spring, sunny days are becoming more common. It does not snow here; however, there has still been a fair share of rain. Did you know there is a name for the corridor wind that passes through the south of France? Named le mistral, this cold, harsh wind makes the winter temperatures feel even colder.
With the change of season also comes migration; the birds are mesmerizing. This week, they filled the sky with their flight patterns; though, I am not sure which species they are. Then, there are always the pigeons, who are very comfortable around humans. Pigeons landing on my dinner table was not something I ever experienced in Kansas.
