The most fun activity this week was going to the marché ("mar-shay"), which is a market, with my friends. We bought food and supplies because Ramadan started this week. Ramadan is a very important month when many people fast, or don't eat, during the day and then eat a big meal together after sunset, so markets get extra busy.
This week, I read The Time Machine by H. G. Wells and some comic books.
I played video games on my phone and on my computer. I like playing quick games on my phone between classes, and exploring large worlds on my computer once I’m done with my work.
This week, I found a convenience store near the babbouche stall that had some cooking ingredients I couldn’t find anywhere else!
