Had I not made the choice to step out of my comfort zone and live in a homestay, Baba and Kazuko-san would never have introduced me to all of the incredible people who remain in my life to this day! I learned a big lesson in taking risks from my time in Tokyo, one of many lessons that helped make me who I am today.
