Korean is the dominant language of South Korea, but I have also heard people speaking English, Chinese and Japanese.
The Korean won is the currency of South Korea. It is mostly foreigners who use cash to pay. Koreans use cards or pay apps from their phones.
Water here is very cheap. You can buy a bottle of water for 540 won (46 cents).
This weekend, my friends and I, were finally able to travel to Busan where we met some very nice people. The bus journey to and from Busan took ten hours. It was not the most comfortable ride. We stayed at a beautiful AirBnB and cooked some meals together (potatoes, eggs and bacon). On our last day in Busan, we visited Gamcheon Culture Village, which is considered to be South Korea's Machu Picchu.
