Hi, I'm Kelvin, and I'm a 30-year-old philosophy major studying abroad during my fourth year of college. I grew up in Garden Grove, California. As a Vietnamese-American, there is also a little Asian city called "Little Saigon" right next to Garden Grove. My academic interests involve art, history, English, and, of course, philosophy! I have a cat named Momo, in reference to the animated TV show Avatar: The Last Airbender. My favorite German song that I've been listening to on repeat since Saturday is called "kann das bitte so bleiben" by ELIF. The title means "can it please stay like this forever."
My university was promoting study abroad, and as a Humanities major, I am required to study two years of a language, so naturally, here I am! I'm looking forward to learning much more about everyday life in Germany. I will try to incorporate history and philosophy with historical places and ideas, alongside an attempt to express it in an amusing way. I enjoy museums and sightseeing. I love passively taking in the city by sitting outside or walking, especially after studying so hard! I'm staying here until March, and I hope this journey inspires me as much as it will inspire you.
