Traveler Bio

Dobrý den (Greetings)! My name is Kaylee, and I come from the mountain town of Asheville, North Carolina. Growing up in Asheville, I loved spending time outdoors, whether hiking through the Blue Ridge Mountains, going for a run, or simply enjoying coffee with friends outside in one of the many cozy cafés downtown. After High school, I left Asheville and studied Political Science and Philosophy at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. During my time there, I became very interested in both research and teaching, while also pursuing another passion of mine—fitness. I worked as a personal trainer and fitness instructor, helping others reach their goals and discover joy in movement. Now, I am living in Cheb, a town in the western part of the Czech Republic, where I am teaching English at a local school through the Fulbright ETA Program. I am so excited to share my adventures here with you all, and I cannot wait to learn about each of your journeys as well! Na shledanou (Goodbye)!
