Traveler Bio

¡Hola a todos! (Hi everyone!) My name is Katherine Kim, and I am 23 years old. I was born in Los Angeles, California, raised in Caracas, Venezuela, and come from a Korean family. Growing up across these cultures sparked my love for exploring new places, learning languages, and connecting with people from all over the world.

I studied International Business at Rollins College in Florida and have always dreamed of living abroad and experiencing how business works across cultures. This dream brought me to Mexico City as a Fulbright García-Robles Binational Business Program grantee, where I am living, interning, and studying while immersing myself in the city’s vibrant culture, history, and neighborhoods. Every day is an opportunity to learn, grow, and build relationships that span cultures and industries.

Through this program, I am growing personally and professionally while exploring the richness of Mexico City. I am excited to share my journey, including my discoveries, challenges, and adventures, and I hope to inspire others to embrace new experiences and pursue opportunities that broaden their horizons. Welcome to my journey!
