What language do you speak at school? How do you say "Hello" in your language?:

At school we speak Afrikaans or English, like you!  Hello in Afrikaans is close to English, Hallo!

What are some common kids' names at your school?:

Maria, Selma, Sara, Esther, Laura, and Elizabeth

What subjects do you study in school, and which one is your favorite?:

I study history, math and Afrikaans. I like math.

What is your homework like?:

Right now I am learning to write and practice writing alphabet letters. Sometimes I cut pictures and paper for homework. I usually get my homework done at school, but sometimes I take it home.

What do you like to do after school? Do you have a favorite sport or game?:

After school, I like to change out of my school uniform, eat and have a nap. After I wake up, I clean the house. When chores are done in the evenings, I like to watch T.V. My favorite sport is netball, which is similar to basketball but is played only by girls.

What would you like to be when you grow up?:

I want to be a doctor.

If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go?:

I would go to India.

What do you know or think about the United States?:

The U.S. is very cool. The U.S. has better schools and health care than Namibia does.
