I met 13-year-old Eiby one Friday morning while playing basketball in our town center. Eiby is friendly, curious and a great conversationalist. One of his neighbors, Nancy, owns a tienda (shop). I often buy dairy products there, such as cheese, sour cream and milk. She likes to stay active, and when I asked if she wanted to go for a walk, she invited me to join their pickup game before work instead, and I said yes!
Eiby normally does not eat breakfast, but on the rare occasion he does, he eats corn flakes or some other type of cereal. For lunch, he usually has chicken and French fries, and for dinner, he has eggs. What do you usually eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner? I hope you eat breakfast, because you’re all still growing!
“There are three floors. The first floor is the kitchen and living room, the second floor is where everyone has their own bedroom, there’s a bathroom, a room in which to study and do homework and the third floor is the terrace.”
