It was a wild weather week in Montreal, and as a result, Halloween was canceled! The actual day of Halloween it was pouring rain, so the mayor declared that trick or treating would happen the next day. But on November 1st there was a huge, dangerous wind storm, so ultimately kids were told to stay inside!
I always see stray cats in the alleys in Montreal, as well as people walking their dogs. This time of year I'm seeing a lot of squirrels munching away, getting ready to hibernate.
The wind storm on Friday was out of control. It uprooted trees and blew garbage cans and compost bins all over the place. I stayed inside most of the day, but I had to work in the morning, and on my walk it seemed like the apocalypse!
Supposedly we're supposed to get snow this coming week... stay tuned!
